Fiona Blackley presents at the Colas Premium Papers Award 2nd Regional Heat

The evening of Tuesday 19th July 2011 marked the 2nd of three heats for the Central and Southern Scotland Colas Premium Papers Award. The session comprised 4 presentations from young professionals - including one by our own Fiona Blackley - in the Central and Southern Scotland area to the local CIHT Branch Committee. The presentations were as follows:
- Charles Macklin - Changing the Modal Split through Public Service Campaigns
- James Calvey - Intellibike for assessing cycle path condition in Edinburgh
- Fiona Blackley - Can brownfield development contribute to sustainable travel objectives? The example of Quartermile.
- Tony Kivistik - The Effects of School Travel Initiatives In Fife on Modal Shift and Vehicle Speeds
The local CIHT Branch Committee are designated as the judges to nominate the best local speaker to go forward to the Regional rounds and will have to make their decision following the 3rd and final heat in Glasgow on Tuesday 26th July 2011.
