Former Vice President Al Gore Praises Scotland’s Sustainability

Steve Cassidy was a panel member in a discussion about the role of intelligent mobility in low carbon economies at a conference addressed by former VP Al Gore and the Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond.
The Former Vice President praised Scotland for its leading role in renewable energy, and noted the potentials for economic growth from an economic agenda promoting sustainability and smart cities. The panel discussion concluded that the use of new technologies allow transport suppliers to be closer to the user - providing services that are both closer to their needs and which meet future policy objectives.
