For the first time in history over half of the world’s population live in cities. Cities have become the battleground for global competitiveness. MRCMH has a specific interest in cities and how transport & mobility can be harnessed to ‘make cities work’. We have expertise and a strong reputation in city development, governance and diagnostic work.
Our work in this services area has included assisting individual cities with issues such as governance, city management, strategic planning, policy development and transport prioritisation. Furthermore we have conducted detailed global trend analysis with a focus on cities and megacities, and we are involved in projects which will develop policies aimed at achieving sustainability in transport systems.
